Dr Tricklebank began her research career investigating the impacts of pollution on fish larvae. This project developed into understanding the effects of pollution on marine organisms, the theme for her doctoral studies. During her PhD she used a multi-disciplinary approach to assess the effects of organochlorine pesticides on the territorial damselfish, Parma microlepis. As a postdoctoral research fellow, Dr Tricklebank focused on the effects of contaminants on estuarine organisms, especially bivalves. She is currently involved in monitoring the impacts of a mass mortality on a population of the New Zealand cockle, Austrovenus stutchburyi. Dr Tricklebank began editing for the Edanz Group in 2013.
